Robert Bordett - Skilled Financial Planner Focused on Divorce
A resident of Georgia, Robert Bordett is a certified financial planner (CFP) and certified divorce financial analyst. Specializing in divorce planning, financial planning, collaborative divorce, and mediation, he has been helping families and couples in crisis make sound financial decisions for over three decades. To provide these services, Robert Bordett maintains several professional positions. He oversees day-to-day operations at Consolidated Planning Corporation (CPC) in Atlanta as senior vice president, and is the founder of Collaborative Practice and Mediation Services, Inc., Mr. Bordett is also one of the founders of Divorce Innovations.
Mr. Bordett began his career after graduating with an AA in business from Virginia Western College in Roanoke. He joined CPC roughly 12 years later and ultimately worked his way up to his current position. He not only works with clients who are going through divorces, but also handles accounting and human resources operations at the company.
He is extremely active in his profession and has spoken about many topics relating to divorce financial planning before different professional groups. He has also published numerous articles about financial planning in publications such as the Journal of Financial Planning and Fidelity 401(k) magazine.
